Music - The food for soul???

I have 2 gr8 passions - Music and Travelling.

I have heard this thing a lot in Urdu
" Moseeqi rooh ki ghizaa hai" (Music is the food for soul)

So used to take this music food evrytime, during travel and elsewhere.
One day during my flight back from Islamabad to Karachi. I was as usual listening to music on my favourite walkman. Suddenly the plane started to jerk, and shake violently. It seemed as it was gradually nearing the land. I kept listening to music to keep away from that thought, but it did not work. I kept trying but it was of no use.
After a little time, i found myself geting off the headphones, and praying Kalima Verses from Quraan.

At that time i realized, that the real food for soul is not music...... IT IS THE TILAAWAT OF HOLY QURAN.
Socrates answered:
"My greatest desire is to climb upto the highest place of the city and call out loud 'People, why do you keep saving all your money and treasure with you to show others? Why dont you all spend it in the bringing up and education of your children even though you know that, not even a single penny will accompany you in your grave and the life here after"

If you do not know what the pleasure of doing a volunteer work is about, just Do IT! Nothing in the world feels better than this feeling.

When you wander out in the streets in the heat of the sun, when you knock at the door of every next house, when you ask every passerby for some money, when every one ignores , when every one blames, but you keep on ignoring, you keep on absorbing every painful blow, and you never lose hope, you never stop – because you know the cause, the cause of helping the suffering ones and you are totally and truly dedicated to it. And when you know that your cause is the noblest of all, the pleasure you get from it is unmatchable.

When you engage yourself in a noble deed, God is always with you, He is always there to help you and He never leaves your company until or unless you end your effort. And when you know that the company you have is the best of all, the pleasure you get from it is unmatchable.

And at the end of day when you prepare to sleep, you feel proud of yourself that this day was a great day and you earned most of it in form of good deeds. The soothing pleasure you experience that day on the bed is the most comforting of the comforts you ever experience in your whole life.

Quake in Subcontinent – GUYS, ITS TIME FOR US TO JOIN HANDS !!!

The September 8th earthquake that rattled the northern areas of Pakisan, kashmir and few parts of India is said to have been the worst ever in this region. The number of deads has now crossed 60000 and the count is still goin’ on and on.

As thousands of families had their grief and sorrow, this disaster have brought a glimmer of hope in this subcontinent – PEACE – something that was never experienced in the area in half century of enmity between India and Pakistan. Probably God have sent this quake in order to gladden thousands of families divided across the Line Of Control and for the sake of betterment of relations between the two nations.

As the nations of the world responded to the call of Pakistan effectively, “The republic of India” exhibited an exemplary behaviour. India soon provided Pakistan with tons of relief aid and millions of rupees cash. India also came up by offering Pakistan its planes and choppers. The plan for the opening of L.O.C also came under observation of both countries, which has now been approved, uniting families that had been divided for decades across the border. “Well done India and Pakistan !”.

May God maintain the atmosphere as it is for the time to come. Touching scenes of Pakistani soldiers helping the Indian workers gladdened billions of people across the subcontinent.

In this situation of opportunity its high time for the youth of two nations to join hands and work collectively to persuade our governments to ACT NOW !

So Indian and Pakistani gals and guys at TIG, its time we wake up and join hand in hand. Its time you come up with your creative suggestions at the TIG platform and tell the youth how we can get together and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
